We will treat all your Personal Information as confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information in the circumstances set out below). We will keep it on a secure server and we will fully comply with all applicable data protection laws, including EU Data Protection consumer legislation, from time to time in place. As a company, Westcon shares your concerns about maintaining the privacy of personal information collected on the Internet. Use of this Website constitutes consent to Westcon’s collection and use of personal data as outlined below in connection with its family of websites (the “Website”).

  1. Collection of Personal Information from Site Users; Cookies

    Westcon may collect and/or track

    1. the home server domain names, e-mail addresses, type of computer, and type of Web browser of users to the website,
    2. the e-mail addresses of users that communicate with Westcon or the website by e-mail,
    3. information knowingly provided by the user in online forms, registration forms, etc. (including name, address, e-mail and other personal profile data)

    Westcon may place Internet "cookies" on users' hard drives.   4. Access to and Ability to Correct Personal Data

    Upon request by postal mail or e-mail Westcon will provide to users a summary of any personally identifiable information retained by Westcon regarding the user. Users may modify, correct, change or update personally identifiable information that Westcon has collected by the website or may cause their personal record to be removed from Westcon’s database by contacting Westcon via postal mail or e-mail indicated in paragraph (d) above.

  5. Collection of Personal Data from Children

    Westcon does not knowingly solicit information from children and we do not knowingly market the website or its services to children. No one under the age of 13 should submit any personal information to Westcon and/or the website.

  6. Westcon’s Right to Contact Visitor/Subscriber

    Westcon reserves the right to contact users of the website regarding changes to the Terms of Use generally, this Privacy Policy specifically, or any other policies or agreements relevant to website users. Westcon reserves the right to change this privacy policy unilaterally and without notice.
